Some businesses naturally have plenty of content while others have to work harder to think of ideas to share. Here we’re going to explore maximising your business experience on Facebook. Sometimes your business doesn’t have lots of pretty things you can take photos of, but that doesn’t mean you don’t want to reach your customers online.
Keep your information current: Make sure all your information on you page is current and accurate. Check your phone, email and website details are correct and make sure your ‘Intro’ isn’t cropped off.
Cover and profile photos: Make sure these are good quality photos or logos, there’s nothing worse than a tiny pixelated image where you can’t even tell what it is or what the logo says. Ensure they are relevant to your business.
Use all the features: Have a go at using all of Facebook’s features, share stories of what’s happening day-today, make reels that show your process, go live with something new and encourage customers to leave reviews.
Make a plan: Having a content plan from using a third party app to a diary, having a plan for your content will help it have impact and save you time when you’re busy. Scheduling a week or so worth of content in one go is also a great time saver, but having a plan is a must.
Make it pretty: Post content with vibrant photos and videos, if you don’t have pretty cupcakes to take pictures of and your product is a little more stale to look at, make bright eye-catching graphics.
Keep Track: Look at your insights and see how your posts are performing. Use this information to make adjustments to your content.
